What Bing Bong is
Bing Bong is the blue plush mascot of BingBong Airlines. On every daily island he sits at the Shore crash site, next to the wreck, so you can grab him before the real climb starts. A second copy sometimes appears later (Airport photobooth / Nadir plane), but the Shore marker is the one this map tracks for the day.
Carrying him does not buff stamina. His only job is the Bing Bong badge: escape the island with Bing Bong still in a living scout’s inventory or Backpack.
Why players look for him

Escape with Bing Bong on a living player. Dead scouts still get the badge if someone alive is holding him when the helicopter leaves. Custom runs do not award badges.

Easy early pick-up
Unlike clown luggage or the Tomb, you do not need a special biome day. Shore is always first, so the badge is available every map day — the hard part is not dropping him on the way up.
How often and where
Our captures place one Bing Bong gear marker on the Shore for every island in the current pool. The exact sand/rock spot moves with the seed, which is why the table above matters more than a static screenshot. Open the row to pin him on the full-screen map.
Routing with the map
- Land, open today’s Bing Bong or the Shore filter on the map.
- Pick him up before you leave the crash site for luggage routes.
- Prefer a Backpack slot so a fall is less likely to leave him on a ledge you cannot re-climb.
- If he is dropped, the marker on this page still shows the spawn — it does not track a dropped item mid-run; you have to remember where you lost him.
- Keep him until the Peak rescue. Lighting the flare with him in inventory (or a worn/carried Backpack that holds him) is enough.
Common mistakes
- Leaving him at the Shore “for later” and forgetting.
- Letting the carrier die with Bing Bong outside a Backpack on a hard wall.
- Assuming every teammate must carry a copy — one living carrier is enough for the lobby.
- Looking for a daily biome condition — there isn’t one for Shore Bing Bong.
